Description of action
The "Compostage au jardin" network, comprising 8 associations, is continuing its efforts to disseminate good domestic composting practice through free events for the public in community gardens, monthly workshops, giving talks to primary and secondary schools and running stands at fairs and exhibitions. At the same time, network members help in setting up micro-collective composting operations at neighbourhood, block of flats and school level.
In 2011, the objective is to develop new ways of intervention :
- promote composting workshops between neighbours
- develop animations in garden centres
- support micro-collective composting projects
- develop the network
