Two Jatropha pure vegetable oil production units inaugurated in Mali, sustainable hammams and an Energy Information center in Morocco, bioclimatic houses in Afghanistan, but also obtaining the IDEAS label or taking part in the COP20 in Lima were among the most significant events of 2014 for GERES. These actions have enabled 237 employees of the association to support 4,101 entrepreneurs and help 696,769 families or project developers in France, Africa and Asia.
These results could not have been achieved without the fieldwork of our local partners – 167 technical partners in 2014 – and the support of our 58 financial partners.
GERES would like to express its sincere thanks to all of them.
The trust you place in us year after year is as vital as ever!
Promoting sustainability, sharing best practices, facilitating local community autonomy and disseminating solutions as widely as possible, GERES continues to do what it does best: working with others to learn, understand and innovate on the long term, transparently, with respect and enthusiasm!
