A crowdfunding campaign for bioclimatic greenhouses
To spin-off passive solar greenhouses in France is a dream for many farmers. GERES is planning to transfer the technology as part of a pilot project in the PACA region. To cover the estimated €10,000 funding needs, GERES has decided for the first time to launch a crowdfunding appeal on the Kisskissbankbank platform.

Inauguration day of Central Highlands Programme in Bamyan
The 13th of October 2014, GERES, MADERA, and Solidarités International, 3 French NGOs, organised the inauguration day of their 3-year rural development Programme in Central Highlands Region of Afghanistan.
Energy Festival and compost box
The advantages brought by energy saving and recycling no longer need to be demonstrated but are taking centre stage. While the Energy Information Centre runs insulation workshops using life-size scale models, GERES is teaching children the ins and outs of composting... The compost box, designed for schools and educational or leisure centres, has not failed to arouse the curiosity of budding ecologists.
Publication of the Month
Outcomes Magazine, 10 years' experience of carbon finance in Cambodia
The first French NGO to include carbon finance within a development project, GERES has now published the magazine Outcomes, which reports on its experience in Cambodia with mass dissemination of improved stoves. With more than 3 million improved stoves marketed by the end of the accreditation period, the magazine gives project stakeholders their chance to speak. Our wish is that you too may get a flavour of the history, techniques and challenges of this incredible human adventure.
