Projet FinSH : sortir de la précarité énergétique (in French)

Le programme FINSH, impliquant 5 pays européens, vient de rendre ses premiers résultats. La précarité énergétique touche de plus en plus de ménages chaque année, non seulement en France, mais dans toute l'Europe. En janvier dernier, dans le cadre du Plan Bâtiment Grenelle, le groupe de travail sur la précarité énergétique remettait le rapport Pelletier sur la gravité du problème en France et les préconisations pour y remédier.

GERES is publishing a best practices guidebook

Guide de Bonnes PratiquesGERES is now publishing a guide to good practice on model technologies and approaches linking development with the fight against climate change in countries of the Global South.The guide will be launched during the 14th annual United Nations Conference on Climate Change in December 2008 in Poznan, Poland. It is designed for development actors in every field, from both North and South (developing country institutions, funders, decentralised cooperation organisations...).

GERES will participate in the 14th conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Poznan, Poland

For the second year in a row, French NGO GERES will participate in the 14th conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which will take place in Poznan (Poland) from 1st to 12th December 2008.

The aim is to raise awareness about the importance of solidarity in addressing climate change and to launch, during a side event, GERES' main initiatives in this area: “Carbon Solidarity Asia” and a compendium of best practices for integrating climate change in development projects, entitled “Energy-Climate-Development”.
