Eight key themes
Preserving the environment, limiting climate change and its consequences, reducing energy poverty and improving the living conditions of the poorest communities: these are the major challenges of our time. The GERES team is taking them up, deploying development engineering and specific technical expertise.
Working in partnership with local communities and stakeholders, it implements programmes based on energy efficiency, extending energy services, creating "renewable energy" supply chains, waste recycling, etc. All these activities are also designed to boost local economic development, particularly through transferring and pooling know-how and skills.
