Promotion of insulation work in homes in France

Action completed

France - Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

2006 - 2012

Today, topics around the control of energy and renewable energies are more and more present among the individuals and the professionals concerned. Renewable energies and particularly solar energy are solutions that are progressing on the territory. Bad known, habitat isolation seems less attractive despite the many benefits it presents.

In this context, the Energy Information Centres aims to raise awareness of the economic and ecological interests of insulation in order to increase the number of works. In 2008, the Energy Information Centres participate in a large information campaign on the isolation of inhabitants of the territory. “Insulation testimonial workshops” are organized as a result of this campaign.

In parallel, the Energy Information Centres draw up an inventory of the local actors (insulation professionals and distributors of insulation) in order to establish a list of the most exhaustive possible stakeholders to give to individuals. They also have good practices cards that include theoretical, regulatory and field implementations.
