Just two days after GERES received the Energy Globe Award at the Austrian Embassy in Paris for its project to distribute improved stoves in Morocco (on 20 May this year), the Cambodian social enterprise SGFE (Sustainable Green Fuel Enterprise), an organisation supported by GERES, was awarded the prestigious Ashden Award in London.
These acts of recognition form a strong motivation for our teams on the ground and reinforce our belief that we can invent and design simple and appropriate solutions that are capable of changing the world.
Concrete and creative, the two innovations presented below help to preserve the environment and also improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable, thus providing answers to the crucial problems of our day.
