The waste we produce each year forms an immense source of raw materials: it is also the focus of major environmental concerns.
These challenges mean that the issue of waste is particularly conducive to experimentation and social innovation, enabling new models to be designed such as the circular economy and the functional service economy.
During the day’s proceedings, students from the Master’s 2 course on the Social and Solidarity Economy will provide an opportunity to exchange, discuss and debate the future challenges of waste management.
GERES, which has jointly organised this day of exchange and reflection on waste management, will take part in a round table discussion: Waste treatment and the product life cycle: a choice between quantity and quality? What innovations can cooperation between actors contribute?
This event is an initiative of the Master’s in Human Resources, Organisation and Projects in the Social and Solidarity Economy of the Aix-Marseille University, and has been organised jointly with GERES, La Plateforme and the CRESS.
