Planning and developing an initiative requires ad hoc technical support, particularly upstream, in order to establish baselines, analyse needs, identify the vulnerabilities and potential of a given territory and suggest ways forward. Geres has developed a series of methodological tools, media and principles for carrying out diagnostics and establishing baselines or financial overviews, with a particular focus on energy and climate issues.<\/p>\n

Whatever the purpose of the operation, our tools encourage the participation of all stakeholders, particularly the most vulnerable. They have both a vertical aspect, rising from local to national and indeed international level, and a horizontal aspect, looking into the social, economic, political and environmental dimensions of the energy and climate issues in the target areas.<\/p>\n
