Solidarity: our response to climate inaction<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

Over the course of 2024, attacks on climate science, action and activists have become increasingly widespread, delaying our collective adaptation and reducing our ability to mitigate climate change both locally and globally.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But merely sounding the alarm on the climate emergency is not enough to spark action, to awaken those who feign ignorance of the scale of the risk or to counter attacks by those who sow doubt. We need to reinvent how we
talk, how we take action<\/p>\n

At Geres, our mission is to improve access to electricity and heat for those with the fewest resources, for the most vulnerable. It\u2019s to encourage the greatest polluters to reduce their consumption, so everyone can enjoy a
better life and adapt to climate change. It\u2019s to reuse organic waste on farms in Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur, take action against energy poverty in Marseille and in Tajikistan, and to help cool homes in Morocco and Cambodia
without using air conditioning. It\u2019s to develop more energy-efficient fish smoking equipment in Togo and bring electricity to micro-businesses in West Africa, all while promoting people\u2019s ability to act.<\/p>\n
