At the end of \u00a02019, the Geres Myanmar and Geres Cambodia teams joined forces at a two-day regional strategy workshop held in Yangon. An opportunity to plan specific new activities in aid of the population and promote greater Climate Solidarity.<\/p>\n

The aim of this co-construction workshop was to discuss the regional forms of Geres action strategy. Further courses of action are under consideration, which will draw on the experience gained by Geres in its other operational areas.<\/p>\n

By way of example, ongoing work in Myanmar is highlighted in this article by AFD<\/a> on Geres guidance and support for Burmese women determined to shape a supply chain for sustainable energy services accessible to isolated villages.<\/p>\n
