As part of the rounding-up operation at Maisons du Monde, more than 494,700 donations were made to support our work to preserve natural resources in the Cardamom Mountains in Cambodia. Our thanks to everyone who contributed!<\/span><\/p>\n

A rounding-up scheme in partnership with Maisons du Monde<\/h2>\n

The rounding-up scheme was launched by the Maisons du Monde Foundation last spring. In total, more than \u20ac60,000 was collected at the tills in just a few weeks. A successful first experiment!<\/p>\n

On that occasion, Marie-No\u00eblle Reboulet, President of Geres, offered her thanks to the whole team at Maisons du Monde and the Foundation who made the operation possible:<\/p>\n

“I know this good news comes from the commitment of the Maisons du Monde company as a whole, all its shops and every one of you. I would like to thank all of you very sincerely, in the name of the whole Geres team and, above all, in the name of the forest communities with whom we work in Cambodia. <\/em><\/p>\n

This \u20ac60,000 will help local communities in the Cardamom Mountains to restore forest ecosystems and defend sustainable natural resource management. I thank you for having contributed in this way to Climate Solidarity.” <\/em><\/p>\n
