Summary and Geres role

This project aims to enable non-state actors to build a common, structured and effective response to the impacts of climate change, through capitalization of NGO experience and capacity-building for civil society in developed and developing countries. This response is put together in the Climate and Development Committee under the leadership of Geres.

Main lines of the project

• Capacity-building in respect of climate challenges for French NGOs, their local teams and their field partners;
• Production of scientific and technical content in collaboration with relevant partners such as researchers, think tanks, etc.
• Technical advocacy concerning the various operational fields and focuses of committee members.

Pursuit of these priorities is supported by a dedicated capitalization component.
