Best practices for shared composting

This photo-story was created with the participation of people involved in a shared-composting initiative in the town of Meyrargues (Bouches-du-Rhône, France). This pilot project implemented with Geres aims at showing that it is possible to recover bio-waste in one’s neighborhood to produce a natural fertilizer and avoid treating 40 kilograms of waste per inhabitant. The project was conducted with the financial support of ADEME, Conseil régional PACA, Département des Bouches du Rhône, Communauté du Pays d’Aix and Itancia.
