Understanding the cost and measuring the impact of energy access projects in developing countries

This study raises the question of the efficiency of energy access projects. It proposes to look at the social, economic and environmental impact of energy access projects taking into account the context and the point of view of the funder or the user. Context plays an important role in project costs and their impacts. In addition, the efficiency of the projects depends on the technology but also on the project’s financing structure.
