Summary and Geres role

Under the leadership of Geres, the Climate and Development Committee of Coordination SUD, structured by PAMOC2, works to consolidate action in support of those most vulnerable to the consequences of climate change.

Members strive to raise the awareness of development stakeholders and provide them with tools, as well as to influence national and international climate action policies.

Principales activités conduites

• Production, enhancement and exchange of collective knowledge on climate and development practices, based on concrete field examples.
• Awareness-raising for French CSOs on climate and development issues and strengthening of their operational capacity.
• Building up collective positions on issues relating to the fight against climate change in developing countries.
